So I was talking to cap and liquid, and they think itd be a damn good idea for me to set up a Calculated Chaos GMod server. Ive got an admin plugin, just need some rtv and that good stuff for max awesomeness. Ill be hosting it any time im over at my cousins (Cant figure out the ded. server, I would appreciate help) and all cC members who join will have their current status of admin (Cept liquid, hes getting super-special-ultra-super-secret-uber-admin. DOGHOUSE BEWARE! THE BURN COMMAND EXISTS) and given commands. Tell me whatever I should have it named as and I will do as such.

Also, there is this thing called ubersound that I can't find that let's you play music with the console.

If this were to go up and those addons included, DL them with your web browser, NOT WITH GMOD. It takes for ever and you will still get error messages.

I dont think I need phoenix 2, since I have 3 if I remember. Wiremod? Ehhh, I never could use that very well. Ill check it all out though. I will also be hosting the server with rotation to:

Awesome, just try and get a set of links up for the stuff you are adding to the server if you get it up so I don't have to twiddle my thumbs in the DLing page watching those little whatsitdoodles floating past.

So what kinda server are we talking about here? One of your cousin's old computers that he never uses or something more high quality? Will it be 24/7? What kind of bandwidth does it support? And, finally, where will it be located?

Sorry for that little slew of questions there, heh. You don't need to answer all of them; I was just curious.

1) A really high end computer
2) No 24/7 until I can figure out gmod dedicated servers
3) Well his internet connection is pretty damn good, doesnt even have FiOS but he gets like 700 kb/s downloads
4) Its located here in Plano, Texas (So katie should be okay since shes in this city)

I, too, would totally be all over this. Doesn't take much for me to be asked into a game of Gmod multiplayer. Just invite people like you normally would with left 4 dead and this could be a routine thing.

Wow, how many people here are from Texas anyway? (I know Blue and I are, as well as Katie, Aero, and EndTime) Just something that seemed interesting at 12:40 in the morning...

And this is awesome, kudos EndTime on getting us a Gmod server.

Why thank you noodle. However theres an unfortunate delay. I do also have good news disguised in bad news.
Recently my hard drive had to be wiped, which also cleared my fucked up gmod file. Since at my cousins starting the server up never really worked as it always crashed when I tried to start it, I can now try hosting it here at home, which will also mean much more frequently will it be up.

However it wont be up until I decide to start re-installing my games on steam.
