I have been to South Korea but your gonna have to be specific about what you want to know. Besides, this is what the links at the bottom of Wikipedia are for.

Yeah, like what is your project on. Do you need to know the types of food, music, religion or what. And if you are more specific in your Google searches it should make it easier.

A guy I used to play WoW with was stationed in South Korea he told me there's an actual channel you can watch Starcraft games on.
