I was climbing up the waterfall, carrying my dog. When I started to lose my footing, instead of jumping backwards into the pool of water behind me and holding my head so I didn't hit in on a rock, I put the arm with my dog out and turned my body so I would land on my feet and my dog wouldn't get hurt.

Banged up my arm and cut the shit out of my finger but after a minute of resting I got up the waterfall and finished my hike.

Then I swam with a dead baby deer.
