Server level to Easy or Peaceful?

Lets just say the creepers are not nice to the new builders on the server when you cannot protect yourself b/c you haven't the coal to make a shit ton of torches to keep them away....and therefore your building goes away very fast...

also the occasional fall from the top of a tower kinda sucks....

Sorry about that man :/ I was planning to disable creeper explosions but wats the fun then :P And im not sure how to change the server difficulty and if so im pretty sure it can be changed by your control panel in minecraft. But anyway sorry for the inconvenience..

changing the server level would most likely be some OP command, and as for the one in my control panel, that only affects single player...

changing the server difficulty is as easy as saying "1 2 3 ban Fireproof"

All you have to do is look in the server config file for the server difficulty line. It's default is normal. Change it to "peaceful" if you wish.

well as far as i know, as long as the server is turned to easy, the monsters will still spawn, but the creepers wont explode, so if anyone wanted to make a monster killer trap, they could, they could just do without fear of creepers fucking it up.

peaceful would just be no monsters with regen health for the depth challenged that fall off of cliffs

I find your hate for creepers both unwarranted and narrow-minded.

Have you ever seen a birds eye view of a freshly generated minecraft map? It's beautiful. The creepers live there, they know nothing else. We invade their territory, rape their land, and destroy the biomes they call home. We slaughter everything that moves, peaceful or not. The terraforming you perform squeezes their population into to such a dimly lit corner that they give their very lives to protect what little they have left for their young. And after we claim all their resources for our own, what do we do? We erect monuments to vanity.

yeah, but there is the off chance you live, with .5-2 hearts then its a pain in the ass to have to try to find food, unless ur an OP and can just heal yourself.

plus that was just a side not, the main concern i have is the creepers, they were all over the spawn area last night,

Toasty's pumpkin head is mutilated, and theres a giant hole next to the giant wooden towers.
