Welcome. The Funserver is fun if your new but it starts to get boring once you've been here 6 months, the custom maps server is really for serious games with (obviously) custom maps and valve maps. Just to get it out the way, you gain admin by votes. If people like you then they might vote you yes for admin, if they don't like you they might vote no or they might just not vote at all, either way abide by the server rules and don't annoy any admins

But it is a serious place compared to the funserver, not so much annoying stuff happens. Apart from auto taunt on kill (don't ever play soldier with the equaliser when that is enabled, you taunt and die, end of game for you my friend).
