The server doesn't want me to enter

I can't enter the Cc Server without it crashing my game and I always get the same message. I can join other servers but unfortunetly I can't join the Cc server

The crash is caused by the MOTD on some computers, go into TF2's options, click the Multiplayer Tab and go into "Advanced...". From there find the checkbox that says "Disable HTML MOTDs" and check it. Then try logging into the server, the first screen should appear gray instead of the image that's supposed to be there.

Wow, I can get in, but now I when I die it crashes my game :/ with the same message. I change my settings to disable HTML MOTD's, AHHHH

Have you tried checking to make sure your memory is working properly? http://www.memtest86.com

Have you tried it without Firefox running at the same time?

So happy to see someone else running XP at 1280x1024 and playing TF2, I thought I was the only one, although soon I hope I will be moving onto Windows 7 and a new computer.
