I got a problem

I'm sorta feeling left out since not getting Left 4 Dead.

Can you guys (and gals) help me out to decide to get it or is it one of those games im gunna get and play for like a month or 2 then stop.

Please help

I am in the same boat. I don't think I would play it for more than a few days so I refuse to buy it. It seems like you play the same four campaigns over and over again. Even with the mobs getting randomly generated so you don't know where they will be or when they will come, I think it would get old for me quick.

I still don't think I will be buying it. It just doesn't seem fun to me.

Its a good stress-reliever. Its something about easy shoot-ems that does that. I have played the four campaigns numerous times without getting bored yet. Is it worth $50? no. They will slowly knock the price down. Its already gone down some i know.

It really depends on if your friends play it, as most multiplayer games are. Each time you go through campaign is a different experience. Versus mode is a blast, if you use some teamwork. I do not regret any part of my purchase, and I recommend you pick it up now, as it is on sale because of the huge steam sale.

I just want to point it out that this game is made by valve... They will be updating this game with new content and maps. They said that it will be updated just after the winter holidays so it should be any day now. Also the SDK is coming out soon so there will be a load of custom maps. I recommend you pick this game up.

During the mall preview all i could think of is Deadrising and i don't know why, but that looks pretty fun.

I was wondering the same thing before I bought it. 4 campaigns, worth 50 bucks? I would say I got my moneys worth and still continue to. Gameplay doesn't get old because you never know where things will spawn. Playing with friends you know is definitely worth it. Versus mode is super fun playing with 8 good friends. And as geoos said, valve will be updating it regularly like tf2 so there will be more maps =P It's a great game trust me. And its getting cheaper so get it so we can slay zombies together!

Yeah, that is one of the things everyone wants for that game. A fricken SDK already!

I also want them to change the way you join games. I find that annoying.

Yeah, I'll pick it up as soon as there is a map that is a dark cathedral to the AI director that plays in the presence of enemies by dream theater.

yea. if they would use the same layout as tf2 itd be better. They probably do what they do because most servers are just 4 people.
