i sense alot of negative energy coming from ^^^ this direction of the thread.

we had a practice, get a feeling for, type match last night and it went pretty well until people started joining.
i forgot to lock the server. lol.

we played a full match on granery and badlands.



as for our roster we just need:

1 demoman, and possibly 1 backup.

we already have 5 players.

...Wait, I thought the roster went like this:

Me: Roaming Soldier

Doghouse: Pocket Soldier

Yulond: Scout

Surnem: Scout

Plenty: Medic

Twister: Demo?

I don't know, we'll figure it out.

Anyway, I hear plenty went ahead and bought cC a private 12-man practice server for 12 bucks a month. Not a bad deal. Should be up by tonight. I'll ask him for the IP in a little bit.

I can be either a demo or a medic, I am available most of the time.

Seeing as the second team is down, I would like to propose my own team.

Last night was a really good practice in my opinion. It helped the practice team learn cohesiveness, but we're still just cannon fodder for the CEVO team. Also what is the normal server config, after we were done playing we couldnt turn cevo config off because we didtn't know the normal config.

Sure, we steamrolled you guys on Granary with our scouts, but you guys almost won the Badlands match. That wasn't cannon fodder.

...Although that was when you guys had more players and Zamboni couldn't get a good connection apparently.

ok if you want to know, we told our extra man to sit his ass on the last point as a heavy, he only saw action when you were at that point, all other times we were man-for-man.

I need to get in on a practice, I want to make a second team, but I need more takers and I need to play with you guys. If the team blows over I still can be a backup for the primary team.

as of now our team is almost @ready. doghouse and twister still need to put in their steam IDs and we are in group A
so far so good.

the preseason week1 map is KOTH_Ashville. if we practice tonight it will be on that map.

OK, practice's will be held on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
If we feel like this isn't enough then we'll change things up.
The practice will begin at 8:30 EST, that's 7:30 CEN , 6:30 MNT, and 5:30 PAC
practice will end when we think were good for that night.
like i said before don't hold the schedule to just Wen, Thurs, Fri. because we might add more if we need it.

My bro and I will join Pubs for hopefully all practices. We arnt usually busy during the evenings and/or nights so we will be glad to help out.

Sounds excellent, and when we begin practice we'll look for people to play on the "pubs" team.

im good enough to play backup for any class. or if a team needs a really good spy im here. but these are small matches and i dont think we will.

CEVO has decided to extend Season 6 registration for one more week until Sunday, August 15th at midnight CST.

I can be a backup. Just let me know so I can join your roster before reg is closed.

Registration closes at midnight CST Sunday. The rules of CEVO do not specify a maximum number of backups a team can have. You will need to join our team today or tomorrow, the link directly to our team will be below this post. as of now we have 3 backups, Tampashrew, Rudedog (although he is also on another team), and myself.
