What do you think TF2 will be like in a few years?

Maybe there will be more annoying laser weapons, or the art style will be gone completely or maybe it will be overrun with pre-pubescent kids like Call of Duty.

in the occurrence that Team Fortress 3 comes out, it'll be full of hardcore tf2 players and highlander matches and shit

Although, the release of TF3 is nothing to expect soon, so probably just a bunch of retarded hats from the workshop and overpowered weapons that everyone complains about, nuthin new

Tournies will most likely continue to take place in TF2, Like most good games that last for a while.

And TF3 will probably end up being complete crap or a joke.

I think that if TF3 is F2P, it will replace TF2 except for people who are vetarans and competitors.

TF3, if it's released will probably just be TF2 renamed to TF3 on our list and a giant update.

or, it will be a new game with a new art style just like TF2 was in the begining and have completely balanced maps, weapons and everything as well as new stuff

I think the TF2 community will survive for 6 or 7 more years, but then as the fanbase begins to dwindle and Gaben can't keep people playing anymore by just making new hats Valve will start making TF3, though I doubt it will have the success TF2 has had. But on the bright side, by then burning flames team captains and all other unusuals will be basically free!

I assume they would just keep adding weapons and hats. Along with various new "bosses" for events. Maybe a new classes but I would highly doubt it.

As long as the world keeps having holidays, Tf2 will be having new events. Though I wonder if tf2 will have to stop sometime.... They can't keep pushing out new content each year... or can they?
