- First: People don't sing along when somebody randomly puts up a karaoke song. They just want to hear the song play and some people don't enjoy to sing when they don't want to.
Second: The text on-screen can get annoying when constantly spammed throughout the course of a map. Especially when so many people are putting up karaoke songs.
Third: The songs are being overused. Since so little songs are up at the moment, the same songs are being played over and over. This causes people to get tired of the songs and even begin to dislike them, thus causing the work put into making them wasted. I know it's on the fun server and all, but when people overuse it, it begins to become NOT fun. Just annoying.
Fourth: People plain old don't want karaoke when they don't want it. Sometimes it is used when four or so people are on the server without consent of the other players, and almost all of them have to use the "!stop" trigger to stop the music from playing on their own computer.
My request is that either the people with karaoke rights start to use them more wisely (i.e. put up a vote before playing a random song), or since I doubt that will happen very easily, that the rights be taken away from all save the higher admins and karaoke developers. This is for testing, after all.
you should just make it so that it shuts off COMPLETEY (not just music) if it is used more than once a round. true it can get annoying at times but I have hardly seen it overused. or if people are going to overuse it just give all admins the power to shut it off for a while for like a time limit and just don't us the power to turn it back on until that time limit is over but please
