Is anyone else without power this week due to this freak octobersnow storm up in New England? (Obviously I don't expect those who can't, to answer) shit sucks, I wont get power back for a week or 2...

The town where my familys house is lost power so the kids there don't have school all this week because the schools are being used as a shelter.

GF and I's apartment is completely fine though. We lost power for about a hour.

Also heard that power in my town wont be up for atleast 30 days, deargodihopenot,
Day 4 of the power outage, out of things to do, I want to move somewhere where weather doesn't exsist, but I bet florida has its big poweroutages with its hurricanes

I lost internet for a whole 5 minutes.

The rest of my town seemed to have lost power.

Now i don't have school most likely until next week

Longest power outage that ive seen is 2 weeks back in 2004 when Charley made landfall as a cat. 4 in my hometown.

Snowstorm? On October? God damn, I don't even get snow during the whole god damn year. Last time I had snow was back in 3rd grade, And the damn thing didn't even last until 12:00pm. Rain rarely comes here also. Southern California sucks.

As far as I know my entire town and family (extended) is still without power. Thank god I live in another state for school : p

Hope it gets fixed soon though, at least before thanksgiving break.

The storm here in Jersey was really lame. Maybe a light frosting on the ground, but that was it.

Plus my school system is complete shit (theyre actually like the best in south Jersey, but that's not a good thing when you're a student), so all the roads were salted and completely clear, and nobody lost power. Longest we've ever lost power was about a week last winter during the really big snowstorm.

I wish it snowed more often here though, I need an actual excuse to skip school to go snowboarding in the winter

To be honest, snows not that amazing, its to run around on day1, go sledding on day2 after that its meh, maybe its just me cause i grew up in snow.
day5 , received word that they'll start working on my town ( entire town is 100%I out), on Sunday, and probably finish on the friday of next week.

Bah haha. I usually spend most of my winter in snow, not really snow storm-ish stuff. Always shitty driving situations, but we rarely lose power. My summers are spent in North Redington at our condo. Guess I get the best of both worlds.

Day 6...or 7, its not so bad, I've gotten things to entertain myself, drawing,poker night at the inventory,DVDs, and a generator. Still..no internet sucks... power may be back Sunday,
oh and if anyone sees sideik tell him Nue wants his Flamboyant Flamenco back....once I get internet....

also again, everywhere seems to have horrible weather, north has snowstorm,south has sttorms,midwest has tornados... I think move to England where its just boring old rain.

First World Problems.

But I do hope power returns soon and with it civilization; I hear they called out the national guard to my town to clean up the tree branches and that Connecticut Light and Power did not pay the utility workers from the midwest for their help after hurricane so they're refusing to help out now : /

I have a 3DS and played it while power is out, I guess im not that bored, im just abit unervered from not being able to do the things I normally did each day
