I was playing Melee Checkers a while ago and after I died, I went to get a drink. I had a friend over, and I saw him get on as I walked out the door. When I came back with my vitaminwater (good stuff) I tried logging in and it said "You have been banned for this server." Of course, I ask my friend what happened and he said he said something racist on the server. I don't know how long the ban is, I don't know who banned me. I'm new so I don't know who the admins are, but I could tell you who I was playing with at the time of the ban.

Because technically, if what he's saying is true, HE didn't deserve to get banned, his friend did.

While it is his fault that he is banned now because his friend played on his account, it isn't his fault that his friend said racist terms on the server (though he really shouldn't have since its on the MOTD, I believe[but no one reads that]). I say unban him and if anything racist comes from this account again, permaban him for good.

Shit, valve doesn't care if you were vac banned because you're friend downloaded and used hacks. Why should we unban him because his friend got him banned?

While I'm gla to see support, I learned my lesson whether I get unbanned or not. I wouldn't bust racist comments as I'm half black and half white (dad and mom respectively) and my mom's side of the family grew up racist, but quit when I was born. I do realize things hurt and I'm sorry for my friend's comment. Obviously, he won't be on my steam any time soon. :\

Yes, I have. cC normally establishes itself as a "That wasn't funny the first time, don't do it again" kind of group, though. I'd hate to see anyone get permabanned for no reason, explanation or a chance to have their say. cC is a democracy up until Captain says no.

My grandma has straight up told me she didn't know if she could love a black baby. But I was the first born grandchild, and first born male. So I guess I got lucky.
