To be perfectly honest this doesn't really surprise me. Over the years the wii and guitar hero have brought in more gamers into the ever growing "casual" gamers area and were probably included in these tests. Also with online gaming at it's peak with call of duty and (sadly) halo, a lot of people are developing more social skills.

To be honest, the face of the gaming industry changed so it is natural for many stereotypes to come down as well.
