anyways, here's the stuff i can see in his little trailer thing that's not some stuff you guys have mentioned yet

If you'll notice his left hand, the one without the welder, is kept very close to whatever he is welding, he also looks directly at his index finger as if he was inspecting it, then he hits it with a hammer.

although true the part about keeping his fingers close to whatever he's welding
it seemed like he was thinking quickly when he was looking at his finger

I may as well just say it since the update hasn't happened yet.
1. A shotgun that shoots off sappers and does 20% less damage.
2. A mug of cream gravy that boosts you with sugar, makes you run 5% slower than a scout, swings melee faster.
3. I was gonna say sledge hammer, but the pyro already has it. A regular hammer/hatchet that changes the max ammount of ammo carried to 300, inputs 50 metal into buildings each time, heals buildings completely in one hit, 30% slower than wrench, 20% less damage than wrench, used mainly for building as hammers are meant for.
4. A kit including a custom set of sentry, dispenser and teleporter, new ones which would be:
a) I honestly can't say anything to argue with your sentry, Phrozen.
b) A dispenser that heals people 50% faster/second, 20% more ammo given/second, takes 40% longer to recharge metal, has 20% greater health, recharges baseball, soda, and jarate in 2 seconds, and sapping does 40% greater damage to it/second than normal.
c) Teleporter that takes 150 metal/level, four levels, forth will require a charge time of aprox. 1 second per use, takes 30 health from any who enter it, 2 seconds longer to set up than normal.
Again, though, it's probably already too late, but these are pretty good ideas in my opinion.

Engineer could get a new pda. This one builds stuff 50% faster but the things it build would be less efficient than the original buildings. That would make the engineer slightly more offensive. More capable of building a forward base in the enemy territory.

Actually, I'm calling it now: the shotgun won't be in the update and valve will never answer any questions about why it was there. They will then randomly put this shotgun in both HL2:EPS3 and Portal 2, but it can't be used. It will then be a weapon in a new l4d dlc, in which Louis rants about who pissed he was when the zombie came three days before the engie update release, and this shotgun.
