I saw Avatar a few days ago i think its the best movie of 2009. ( my opinion XP)
I saw it 2 times ^^ in 3D and normal and 3D was f**** amazing.

I saw avatar in 3D on New Years, I thought it was absolutely amazing, one way I could tell is I couldn't even see the three hours fly right by me. The plot did seem a bit like Dancing with the Wolves, but I still enjoyed the plot as well as the special effects. I reccommend this movie to anyone except for people that hate any movie whether it is because of ADD or just him, also recommended in theatres.

Halo ripped off Aliens, Aliens ripped off the first alien movie, and the first alien movie OBVIOUSLY ripped off the possibility of aliens on other planets in the universe (or, depending on your religion, the onmiverse).

Not worth it in my opinion. I went to see it in 3D, but the plot was so awful, i couldnt fully enjoy the screen. The effects were phenomenal but they were just one big distraction.

Agree. Was better as a plot for Dances with Wolves, Pocahontas, and Apocalypto...so overused.

I can't see things in 3D if it uses those glasses, they just dont work for me

but back on subject, its coming to our theater so I'll be seeing it tomorrow

and Sherlock Homles is a good movie too, just in case anyone's wondering

I enjoyed it well enough. Yeah, the plot sucked and characters were flat, but it's the kind of movie you go see to go "WHOA!!! Look at that shit!" If you wanted a good plot, characters, and sympathetic aliens, go watch District 9. In the mean time let's sit back, relax, and wait for Jackass 3 to come out so we can be bombarded with giant 3D penises.

I just seen the movie last night and it was wonderful. Made me mad 'cause the people are jerks and it was a Pocahontas story but very pretty and I enjoyed it.

I rather watch Avatar than District 9, Avatar was more of my kind of movie than District 9 and I would never watch Jackass 3, I think its completely stupid and a waste of my time.

Almost every movie is just another movie told in a different way. If you didn't watch a movie because it copied another you'd have an extremely limited selection.
