Well that musta been one awesome achievement server :D. Mr Dispencer?? If Mr Dispencer is the Engi's dispencer it always cheats, as does the Engi, by getting source mod on the server and building a sentry that he can move around, or build a sentry on a car that can be moved around the battlefield (YouTube the last one, it was funny).

As I see it, when valve started dropping the rewards linked with gaining acheivements they stoped caring who got what when. If Valve doesn't think that acheivement farming is cheating, I don't see why I should care about it either. Although, they may change their mind when item trading comes in. Wether they like it or not, third parties are going to make money from trading. Since they've offered TF2 for sale at $1-2 in the past, if you can win all the weapons at once, then craft them, then sell the crasted metal on for more than the price of the game at that time, someone somewhere will do just this. Even if the profit is cents/pence it will be done by someone on some scale large enough to justify the expenditure. Instantly TF2 will become the highest selling game of all time but also one with the most about of dead/idling accounts.

At which time, just as they did with Update 118 and item managers, Valve will introduce a patch to kill anything that they might think is being used to exploit their system.

yeah i totally agree. if they do another sale like that im thinking on getting a few accounts and have them idle on different computers so i can get items, then trade them if trading comes out.
