Server Admin Badge Info

Well, the admin votes don't automatically change someone to admin. CptAngry sees the votes, then he personally (or a higher admin probably) changes them to admin on the server.

I personally think there will be too many admins because right now i see about 10 people with the votes already allowing them to be admin so i believe there should be some kind of restraint on the number or increase the number of votes needed

Maybe a majority vote of Admins once the minimum number of votes has been reached?

It doesn't matter if there are a lot of admins because if they have the votes then they are doing an ok job. If they do a piss-poor job it will reflect in their votes.

So do ALL admins need to be voted on? No autopromotions for epicness or awesome cC vid intros (gervangster )? That seems kinda... limited.
Also, abuse of this system could be likely... ("Hey I'll upvote you if you upvote me", etc) as well as griefers that downvote for no reason.

You can't vote on higher admins. It's not like I would remove their admin from them anyway. Not based on votes.

I just made it so people can vote on deathspawn becauseI think it's funny.

I'm sure the admins can see the IP Adress of all the vote. It'd be pretty fun if there were 30 people with the same IP Adress.

In order to deal with any potential abuse I have decided that the forum widget will not automatically add admins to the servers. All this means is that you may have a short waiting period before someone approves your admin or removes it (when applicable).

I am going to be working on an admin panel that a few people will have access to in order to moderate admins. Basically all you will have to do is check the updates page and approve or deny admin changes. I'm accepting applications for people to do this via GOOGLE TALK only (theangrycapt@gmail).

You can vote for people by clicking on the 'yes' button next to their posts. You can vote against someone by clicking on the 'no' button. I will be working on making it look pretty tomorrow.

I would imagine that people will vote for people that they think would be good admins and people that they are friends with. Since exposure on the forum is important to getting votes, it is probably a good idea to frequent the forum and post on topics you are interested in.

If you don't have a voting badge next to your name, add your steamid to your profile. You can get edit your profile by clicking on 'User Menu' at the top and going to 'User Control Panel'.

1) We cannot vote for you because you don't have you SteamID linked. Do that the beg for votes. (see what I did there)

2) I do not think begging is going to work guys, if you're on the servers and are a decent person you can beg for it there where we can see what you play like.
