you can also use the "img" tags outlined here to link directly to a pic without uploading anything to the forum itself.

its simple really. just surround the url path to the image with the tags.

It is better for me to have you upload the images because it will automatically make a thumbnail for you if your image is too big.

That said, I have no real problems with you linking to your images from elsewhere. Just if you plan on uploading an image somewhere just to post it on the site, it doesn't really make sense.
