Dont talk when disguised or cloaked.

If you take a teleporter, wait for the trail to disapear before going out.

Don't EVER disguise as a medic, because when you don't heal anyone they will kill you.

Also I disguise as a medic all the time and the other team take me in as friends! You just gotta stab them before they yell for medic. :P

scout is not really a great class to disguise as because u run slower than a real scout so if some1 notices u r a deadman.

I use scout disguise all the time, and i am continually surprised by how little I get spychecked when I have I use it.

Here's a tip of my own: Never change disguises in the open air, do it while cloaked. The smoke from disguise changes is a lot more prevalent than you would think.

yeah exactly. thats another one. cloak then disguise, then uncloak. its alot easier to spot a spy who is just changing his cloak. as the scout disguise, i stay hidden until i see someone coming i usualy press jump alot in diff directions, cuz the scout jump animation shows with the windswift thing or whatever. that plus the reload trick usually gets people. and by time they figure it out... im already killing them.

1.teles don't have the glow if you're disguised

2. NEVER be medic/scout or an engine against an offensive team (no uber bar as medic / slower speed as scout / they will see you're useless if you're an engine going against an offensive team etc.)

....Those are the best classes to disguise as....especially engie.

Nowadays Pyro and demo are just to obvious.

1.Snpier
2.Engineer
3.Demo (i like demo over soldier cuz soldier shoot ALL the time)
4.Soldier
5 Pyro (ONLY for Very short amounts of time by enemy Spawn...spy speed=pyro speed and u dont have to spam neer own spwn so no judgment/killing lol)
.....and think about it people want pyro's to spy check they almost never think that they are spys till u get closer to battle!

I usually keep my enemies in sight, but walk beside them to the objective they're trying to accomplish. Then I go a bit ahead to act as if I'm making sure they're aren't any enemies then I return and stab everyone on the point.

People also make the mistake of immediately disguising after backstabbing someone. DON'T do this as the person you just killed is then able to reveal to their team what you are disguised as. If your in a hidy hole then don't stay in there for too many kills cos you will eventually get caught. I would cloak immediately after killing someone if you want to disguise. Also remember that Spies can only disguise with the primary weapon of the class you are disguised as.

I usually wait about 1-2 sexonds until I disguise.

I find that successful spys find someone who usually goes left than disguises as him and goes right, behaves like him drops back and backstabs his support.

Dead ringers have to use there fake scene of death well, meaning wait till half health to pull it out.

Good disguises are: Demoman because they retreat for ammo a lot; Spy's because most people won't spy check you if your following someone on your team, wait for him to die, than get behind them and redisguise; Pyro because they play offensively and need to get to the front lines; and snipers because they hang back and wait for someone o shot before they do something, but when amongst snipers in combat, can you spell multi-kill.

NEVER disguise as a pyro, because people don't commonly help pyros set alight by pyros on their own team.
NEVER disguise as a scout, spy-trained eyes like those of expert pyros and spies alike will notice your speed.
TRY NOT TO disguise as a heavy, because that will make you move at heavy speed, which is as fast as molasses in Antarctica in January, which makes it super hard to backstab people.

Also, many do not do this, but try to act like a regular spy. Dish out the intel to your team. "That heavy is a spy!" "There is a sentry infront of our spawn! (For the people that haven't noticed)" And so on.

USE THE REVOLVER. YOU DON'T ONLY HAVE A KNIFE.

Scout and Pyro are the disguises I use 98% of the time. Disguises don't matter as much as knowing where and when to decloak, "parkour"/navigation stuff and how to pick targets (i.e. don't go after the paranoid heavy standing on the cart).

I miss easy backstabs and stab the people turning 360 degrees a second.

I should probably lower my sensitivity.
