My marathon weekend

Well I told some of you. I ran/walked the half marathon this weekend at Disney World. A half marathon is 13.1 miles and you have to complete it at a 16 min mile for this particular one.

It might not seem it but 13 miles is a looooong way. Picture time!







I was about to die after this but I actually had a great time. I finished at 3 hours and 36 minutes which was actually about the cut off for having a posted time so I'm proud of myself.
My dad went on to run the full marathon the next day making his mileage 39.3

Has anyone else done anything like this?

I'll do one mile in 10 minutes or 3 miles in 30 minutes but that's about my cutoff.

thats pretty cool. id like to do something like that. i run a 6 min mile. i havent ran since it has gotten colder so im prolly at 7 min by time winter is over lol.

i run to keep fit. when i broke 3 ribs playing soccer, i couldnt do anything athletic for a year and gained a good 20 lbs. soo...

It's not that I "like" to run. I did it because people said I couldn't. Oh and do you mean you can do a 6 min mile for 1 mile or what?
