Is it wrong...

Unread post by Xratter »

If I want to kick/mute every last single person who babbles/talks just for the sake of making noise? Cause it seems like the past two nights I've been on, no one's really cared about incessant conversating of about absolutely nothing (like penises for example)... Either I need to get my admin powers taken away, or I need to know it's ok to mute the hell out of people.

Am I the only one who's feeling this?

If you are annoyed that someone it talking too much, mute them. One of the rules is no excessive talking. We have all been muted and most people could un-mute themselves if they really want to.

I usually un-mute people I mute after a little while to give them the benefit of the doubt, but everyone gets unmuted when the map changes. I follow the same rules with mic spammers.

The best way to handle this is normally a votemute. If it passes, the server wanted to mute him and if not, he knows you mean business and shuts his gob.

I usually just put up with it or quit for a while if no one is complaining. However if more than one person says something let the mutes fly.

I just accept that certain (around 30%) of cC members will babble incessantly on this server. If I cant' deal with it I play somewhere else, and if there's no where else to play at the time I just disable in-game voice.

I have no problem with half the server being muted. Even I talk too much sometimes. We all need to shut the hell up.

Sometimes I ask them to stop and they do but sometimes the mods mic spam/play music over the mics and then the people I ask are like well I guess its okay so I can't do anything about it.
