calculatedChaos Jukebox

I have added a jukebox to the main server. I am still in the process of refining the settings. To access the jukebox type /jb in chat and to turn if off type /jboff in chat.
There are about 750 songs for your enjoyment. Once I get everything working and I can asses the bandwidth this thing is taking I plan on setting up a few users to upload new songs to the server. Users will be responsible for keeping the database accurate and uploading new songs to the server. After a while once everything is running smoothly, we can start taking music requests.
Let me know if you notice any issues.

Alright, I really am going to stop now. I am currently uploading 200+ songs. There should be something for everyone if you aren't into solely pop or country.

Van Halen is something I don't have... used to have it all but lost it in the great file system crash of 2004. It was sad.

Oh hey look at this
http://applian.com/asktoolbar/download.php
This can record the audio from your computer in a toolbar, so you can just hit record, start a music video on youtube, then you have the music, its easier than some of the other ways.

dude Audacity does a better job. Record from your speakers, edit it for DVD quality, and save as MP3s, WMAs, Apple files, WAVs, etc. But if want that filtered youtube sound in your music, whatever floats your boat kid.

the thing is audacity wont record from he speakers for me because I don't have stereo mix or any of that, not to mention with that you have to start audacity and if you want to record something on the spot it's easier with this

The Jukebox isn't working for you?
I can work with anyone who it doesn't work for. It's pretty easy to fix. You just have to make sure that you can stream windows media player stuff from your version of internet explorer.

This thing is ok but if you play all of an artist or 10 random songs or something like that is there anyway to go to the next song like skip a song?

The next release is supposed to allow you to manage a playlist (add remove songs) and have skip controls (backwards and forwards).
It is also supposed to auto start again after the MOTD comes up.

I just updated the plugin. It should work better now with playback controlls (stop, play, pause) and it should restart after map change.
You can also add music to a queue and can set it up so when you pick a new song it simply adds it to the end of your queue (or the public queue).

I would like to suggest "Black betty" by Spiderbait, or even Ministry.

It's the "Black betty" that i like. Spiderbait does an excellent cover of it, and so does Ministry. I heard Ministry's version just 2 days ago and it's superb.

Can I get some stones or eagles or something? Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and, Mr. Johnny Cash can only hold me for so long.

The soundgarden tab doesn't seem to work anymore. Also, I would love you if you could get some liquid tension experiment.

Do a search for Soundgarden. For some reason after a certain point under artist/album browse, the tabs stop working.
