For some reason I think at least one person is a liar. I think I would have noticed playing with a 4 year old.

You never know these days. I started playing NES and SNES back when I was about 4, I guess it could be the same for computer game now-a-days?

I never got into playing the NES I started with the SNES and only upgraded from there, I have played every system except for PS3, and owned almost every one in between as well. I still remember the Christmas we got our SNES and we stayed up playing UN Squadron all day and night. Zombies Ate My Neighbors also has to be one of the best games ever.

My first game was Super Mario 3 for the NES. My mom was a master at it and taught me stuff like where the whistles were. That game rocked.

Now Death. It's not like I didn't play the atari. It was actually my second system. My grandma had one and I used to play it all the time(yes I kinda downgraded). NES was my first system and since atari came out in the early 80's (compared to the mid to late 80's for the NES) it should have been yours as well.

Edit: Technically we should have started out with something like the SNES huh?
