Funny how you mention this burn the rope game. I had to play it as an assignment in my class (gaming class). We had a discussion about "Is it a good game" and surprisingly many people said Yes it is a good game. But to me it's.. just not...
Aparently it was made as a joke and is funny to gamers but I didn't understand why people liked it.

I have to side with Grim on this one, ANY game post Quake that cannot use WASD is fail.

That is true, unless the game does not use the mouse. This leaves the right hand open for the arrows and the left hand open for the keys and control of the other elements of the game. (The MMORPG MapleStory comes to mind - it would be impossible to play it with WASD anyway)
