I have/have played both of them so far. The third one looks like it will be a follow-up just to complete the series, so the only reason I would get it is purely for the storyline. Unless they think of something crazy innovative, that is.

i loved the first gears. the 2nd once was too much like the first. it was still good. i hope the 3rd one adds alot of new stuff. because the 2nd one only had new takedowns (curb stomp, meatshiled, punch the guy while hes down,) and other stuff

I never played the second one. I beat the first one in a few hours though. I never really got into the whole xbox live thing though.

I have both of them but i traded the first game for Too Humans(Got a bum deal out of it) and kept the second one
