alpha stop making stupid topics that no one cares about just to increase your post count. and don't post stupid things just to improve your post count

I don't think its a dumb topic, we have threads about 'funny pictures' so why can't we have one about pull-ups or exercising?
Its like a challenge.

I use a device that lets me do pull-ups in a doorway, deeper push-ups, and lets me do sit-ups/crunches by holding my feet. This is a great investment for anyone, especially people living in an apartment. My best record for push-ups is 120 in 2 minutes. My best mile runs were a little less than 5 min, but my best 2 mile was 10:16. I am actually a little weaker than I used to be, but I wiegh less than I did at my strongest, and at that point was about 210. I like being smaller and thiner and would ultimately like to be at 175-180 with 8-10% body fat. Now, make sure that you know the difference from a pull-up and a chin-up. A chin-up is with the palms facing towards you, the pull-up having the palms facing away. The chin-up is a weaker or easier version, while the pull-up is more difficult but can allow you spread your hands apart at different intervals. I can do about 50 chin-ups striaght and fast and I'm spent at the end. Pull-ups I could do 40, but I normally would not do them all at once and would vary the width of my grip during different sets. A tip for getting better that I use and that makes your muscles harder, at the end of a set up pull-ups hold the last one as long as you can, being sure to stretch the muscles well afterwards.

Dude, I was Army. Basic was a breeze, like summer camp with automatic weapons and hand grenades. The Marines basic isn't that much harder, just longer and without the pretending not to be gay. You want break a sweat (and a lot of other stuff), try the SFQC, 9 months of hell on Earth. It make the Marine scout sniper course (btw it's in Hawaii) look like a vacation.
