OMG! i never got my halo hat! that is no fair!!! i never went on ANY idle server! THATS TOTAL BS! can someone help me witht his? or at least help me talk to steam with this! THIS IS NO FAIR!!!!

You could've gone into an idle server, but you COULDN'T use the external idle program.

Why do you want a halo?

It could have been that either you or somebody else accidentally ran the program for one second, then you wouldn't even get a halo and get flagged as a cheater.

The halo doesn't increase the hat percentage, Valve made it much easier to find hats by making the precentage more. So the halo is useless anyway.

Did you restart steam? I had to before I got my halo.

Yea, the halo increases nothing except the glow above your head.
People started that rumor to annoy people without halos.

On a side note, both times we've played on my map ksar someone has recieved a hat.

Now I believe that you didn't use a program, but idle servers are everywhere and you may have fallen into one. You can go to www.support.steampowered.com, signup, and ask them a question about it. They usually answer within the day you sent it, but keep on the lookout.
