start with the basics, intake, exhaust, ej257 swap, you know... standard stuff.

of course its manual i'mn not a communist...ok that means absolutely nothing to me lol i'm cartarded

heh it was a joke, the 257 is the engine used in the sti and pretty much the god swap for anyone who doesn't have an sti, damn expensive too.

what can i do for better acceleration and or handling?

ok there isn't much in the way of acceleration you can do on an NA like that cheaply, new exhaust and intake to start off with because everything else you do will require that. For handling start with some grippy tires, if you live in a shitty weather area find someone selling rims that are the same bolt pattern 5x100 I believe and pick them up to throw some summer tires on. then bushings anti lift kit first and after that sway bars
