STOP IT
Every time i get on it shows everyone playing team fortress 2, BUT EVERYONE SINGLEONE OF YOU FAGGOTS ARE USING THE IDLER
It's FUCKING ANNOYING

I only use the idler under two conditions. either
A: I'm away but won't be away for more than 40 minutes.
or
B: I've got more important shit to do BUT STILL WANT MY DAMN HATS.

Yeah, i'm pretty sure if you are idling you can set your steam friends status to offline and none of your friends will see you are idling.

If I remember right you have to be signed in to steam friends in order to earn drops. I don't know if the same applies to the idler, however.

It does. It signs you into a specific idle server that holds over 10000 people and you just stay at the first screen and earn drops.

if your computer is still on then your wastin energy just stayin there even if its for virtual hats that you would show off for what? a minute then get tired instantly! that is totally not a waste of energy!

If you're looking for a game of tf2 anyway, just load up tf2 and see what servers people are on. If they're all on the idle server, then leave or join a random server. If they're on the Custom/Funserver, join that.
