i get alot of my stuff from youtube and there is a much easier way. using software i downloaded.
youtube video to MP3 converter then i convert that to a .wav and then i use goldwave to edit the sound volume and bass

There's 2 things you gotta watch out for when recording with Stereo Mix: (1) Make sure you have a high quality sound card, or else your output quality will never be as good as the original sound. (2) Make sure you're not running any processes that could lag your computer, or else your audio output will be choppy all over and even one spurt of lag can ruin your entire audio.
