You really have no idea how much spam we delete every day do you? it's not like it's just random flair ups it's constant. It just takes us longer to deal with it sometimes.

no doubt But There seems to be more and more as the site matures on the internet and sits in the dirty grim off ass hole spammers for porn,other site, sham wows, you name it.
Just joining it out....the people that run this forum do a fantastic job... even with their crazy shiting schedules.

Can't we just ban their IP?

According to cap that could be a problem because IP addresses get reused all the time. So on the off chance that some one that got that IP and wanted to come here they couldn't.

Plus it wouldn't stop anybody, you can change your IP and use proxies and all this other crap to get by IP bans.

Run a trace IP on a regular user and a spammer and you will see those IPs go through a lot of shit before they get to us. Most are proxys.
