I have noticed that people do things more when admins aren't around. So what we need is a group of admins without the tag to catch people off guard. The people who do this might have to change their alias every once in a while. Any volunteers?

I have no problem with changing my avatar, turning my friends list off and changing my name. People will always do things when admins aren't around so hopefully regulars will know who to contact.

i could do this sometimes, when appropriate i guess. if someone is sort of acting up, it would be okay to disconnect change everything and reconnect. but you would also have to inform at least 1 person thats in the server that you are doing this. so everyone wont be like "who is this guy???!?!" lol

but it will really be kinda hard to contact each other and the steam friends list has the "view aliases" option so we can to track down each other. won't the "random trouble makers" go "OH SNAP ITS AN ADMIN" *runs away*

If you change your friends list as 'offline' you won't show up in any of your friends lists so you are very hard to track down. It would end up coming down to voice and avitar to figure out who is who if they change their name. If you don't talk and you change your avitar, you should be a ninja.

assuming these trouble makers are as dumb as they seem couldn't we use the old /-sm-/ tag instead of the cC tag for this one? (cause i will miss having no tag)

open console, record demo, get a place for ppl to upload demos for admins to review Easier than having admins change names and whanot.

Selected friends who don't ever where the tag and are secret admins (not to suggest any names) could work to, depending on the flags you have set to show admin activity.

ooh and an advertisement: "This server is under 24/7 surveillance, pricks will be banned"

the demo recording is a good idea grimgriz.

All good ideas although It would require a bit of work. WE'll see if this continues to be an issue. I am more of a fan of having people complain on the forum.
