Down blankets always get too hot, so I turn my ceiling fan to max and it neutralizes the heat. It's like I'm not even wearing a blanket at all...

They do get hot, I agree, but in winter you don't need a billion different blankets, only 1. Plus, I have this thinner down blanket that's perfect unless you live without air conditioning and it's also really hot where you live.
