Ultra-Obscure Games Which are also The Best Games Ever Made
That's right, games that nobody has ever heard of, but which kick so much ass that you wish everyone played them. Me, I practically grew up on the Escape Velocity trilogy.
And... go.
And... go.

Toot vs. Batman 2: The Squeakuel. My friend made this game and put it on the internet, but he never made anything further than the alpha. The game kicked ass. You play as one of those things from Wii Music and are inside a giant arena, while Batman chases you and tries to kill you by shooting fruits and dinosaurs at you. You try to survive as long as possible. Greatest thing ever made.

The Demon Rush.
While it's sequel Skylight is terrible, this game is on a level of bad that's just an experience.

Did I mention every game made by Ambrosia Software ever?

I played Ferazel's Wand to beyond death, and then some, because it was just so wonderful in every conceivable way. I even learned to make my own detailed levels out of it.

Anybody tried You Are Empty? I'm not sure how obscure it is, but I liked it a bunch more for the atmosphere than the gameplay.

PREPARE TO HAVE YOUR MINDS BLOWN BY THE BEST GAME EVER.
I was thinking about posting this a while ago, You know, Before it would be considered a shitty bump. I'm also very bored and the forums here have nothing new.

Kabuki Warriors.
It was impossible to put down because you had to figure out why it was made, how it works, why the characters almost all look the same, and perhaps yes, by playing it you were assissting some earth devouring demon enter our universe but it didn't matter because it was just too japanese and too mind boggilingly awful to put down.
I owned this game. And sorry for poor youtube quality but I couldn't find anything else.

Some good quality footage, along with some so-so commentary.Opium wrote:Kabuki Warriors.
As resident fighting game faggot, I can honestly say that I can't figure out how the fuck this game works by looking at gameplay footage.

An EVN gameplay video:
It may not look like much from the video, but once you actually play it, it grows on you almost immediately and has a lasting effect. I don't really know how to describe it, but to me EVN will always be the greatest game of all time.

God I miss having this game so fucking much.

Bumped for Guilty Gear, a rad ass fighting game series that put Arksys on the map. If you like Blazblue or the Persona fighter it's well worth your time. There's a PC version available on gog.com for $2.39, believe me it's money well spent. There's also an updated version of it with online support dropping on XBLA and PSN at some point.
The gog purchase also comes with the ost. That alone is worth the 2 bucks.
please marry me, Daisuke...
