I was wondering.

I'll be out in the open about this: I am godawful at using HTML and BBCode, and can't figure out how to resize images either. I know for a fact that this makes me a technologically backwards hick, and that all aspects of these kinds of things should be obvious to be me at this point, but for whatever reason, they aren't.

So, to put matters simply, I was wondering if anyone could tell me the easiest way to resize images, as well as how to make YouTube videos properly display on threads when linked? The FAQ didn't seem to be very clear in explaining the latter, not that it may have ever been supposed to...

For resizing images, I suggest uploading to a photobucket account and resizing there. Youtube vid wise, you use the code in the url after the =. (Ex. youtube.com/v=12345, you'd use the 12345 12345[/youtube)

And what about flash images? When I put in [flash=width, height]url=12345[/flash], nothing shows up even when flash is turned on, such as in signature.

Coding just fucking pisses me off, and no matter what I do it never seems to work. :\

Okay, so I linked a URL for flash and a still image appears, but it does not animate. I'd really like to know what's wrong.

I'm pretty sure Flash doesn't work here. If it does, I'm pretty sure all hell would've broken loose here already.

It still doesn't work even when I treat it as a gif.
