Map: arena_grid_walls

Server: Funserver

Reason: Shooting the bison through walls on grid walls

Time: Sunday, November 13 around 2:15 am EDT

Circumstances: I told him the server that if anyone shoots through the walls their entire team gets slayed as a deterant. Sideik decided to test me on it, so i slayed his team. He did this three times, I told him to stop or I would kick him. He persisted, I kicked him with the reason "I told you to stop"

[SM] Kicked sideik the fabulous bug zapper (Reason: i told you to stop)
Player sideik the fabulous bug zapper left the game (i told you to stop)

I told him that if he were to come back and continue doing it I would ban him for an hour.

sideik the fabulous bug zapper: just becus im shooting the bison doesn't mean im shooting through the walls
Spleenter: i was watching you first person
Spleenter: dont try to play this off
Spleenter: if you do that again im gonna ban you for an hour

He comes back and begins to push my buttons by shooting through walls again, albeit not at people, I speciffically told him to stop shooting through walls.

I banned him for an hour (i pressed the wrong button in the admin menu so it looks like it was for "wallhacking", not "cheating/general exploiting.") Regardless the reason he was banned for an hour.

Then we had this discussion

tl:dr version.:

Sideik is upset that I was actually being an admin when he was trying to be a smartass. He then attacked my reputation saying I am a terrible admin. Bottom line, He is banned until around 3:15 am EDT. and by the time most of you read this he will have been unbanned and he will still be mad at me.

Does the bison really cause damage to the person on the other side?

I have tried this myself on grid walls, wacky races, and balloon race, but I have always dismissed that the damage doe not take effect, as I keep hit-bells and display damage/healing on in my advanced settings, and I have never seen it damage anyone.

In fact, during the start of balloon race and wacky races, when both teams stand on their respective vehicles, I have shot through the glass directly at someone staring at me through the other side, and it passed through them unscathed.

As far as I know, we've only managed to get it to work on gridwalls, You can hear the enemy make a pain sound when you hit em in grid walls, Won't show the damage you deal to them though.

But that's the very small minority of the time I have spent there. I have spent four months on the server, and plan to spend many more. I love this community. You are all bros, even if I am somewhat a dick during gameplay.
