Who wants to work on the server city?

The server is whitelisted, so you'll have to apply here. To see the whitelist, go to
http://71.197.129.7/whitelist.txt. We will work on the city, and the city only. Don't build your dream structure made of diamond and gold. Make the city look nice. I don't want the server to be like some of the servers when you join and you have to walk for 10 minutes just to get out of the spawn which is 95% diamond and gold. Make the city look like it was possible to build in survival mode. Just post your in-game name below to be added to the whitelist. The server is not up, but will be up and running when you see the ip in this post. However, you may apply ahead of time.

I still need to finish the bank. Autopilot and daniel (geraldisi) are actually helpful too.
And someone to generate ideas. i can build most anything, i cant plan for shit though.

I can help build cities, built this huge ass castle on my own, while working on city with another friend. Also comes with secret escape route to underwater base.

Unfortunately I cannot switch this map to a 1.9 map. This is because right where the city is is a border between regular land and swamp land so it looks really retarded. If we did want to switch to 1.9 we'd be starting from scratch. That might also be a gamble because I don't know if the map generator is going to change again once minecraft is officially released (1.10).

just give me a 1.8 .jar so I can play multiplayer again

Just go in your bin folder and delete your minecraft.jar and your version and md5s files. Then relaunch minecraft and then your 1.8 will download itself.

delete your .minecraft folder and redownload..not just the jar or .exe.
also, i've just been asked to update before and it "updates" back to 1.8

I'll gladly help , I can make sort of cottages that can contain beginner items to help the newcommers. (wooden tools and such)

The whitelist plugin is a bit flaky. I'll see how the server whitelist holds up.

I'd like to help but I'm not amazingly creative, I could certainly help with a minecart system if you want. I made a roller coaster on Secret Legends server that people liked, although part of it went through a gold, diamond, lapis, brick and glass tunnel to keep mobs out while it went to Thursdays base thingy. Either way I'm sure I could build a nice house of two.

Time to limit the whitelist.
steve got happy with some fire by the nether portal in the city, and someone griefed the shit out of the nether spawn.
