Why so vanila?

The server is vanilla because CraftBukkit (server program) hasn't been updated to 1.8 for a while, so that is why the server was vanilla for a large chunk of time. CraftBukkit for 1.8 has been released. However, the server is still in vanilla mode because 1.9 is just around the corner. By the time I get a full 1.8 non-vanilla awesome server up, 1.9 will probably be out, making my efforts useless. So, I'm waiting for a 1.9 CraftBukkit build to start making the server awesome.
