I finally got my server's shop back up an running. Use ./shophelp to learn the commands (The shop is all commands based, so don't ask where the shop is). The shop uses ingame money. The shop is more like a controlled "give" command. You sell items you don't need (like a few stacks of cobble) and purchase stuff that you do need (like tools, diamonds, etc). Also, you can purchase kits through the shop. Yes, kits are not free, but at the same time it prevents people from spawning themselves a stack of picks, etc.
