What camera should i get?

I'm thinking about getting a camera for my family our camera is from 2004 and the battery life is crap so i might as well buy one for them because they're too ignorant I have no experience with cameras in my life but my budget is from $45.00-$150.00

I have a Polaroid t1031 that I know is in that price range and it takes good pictures and is a small, easy to use camera.
