Naoto has an even remotely playable moveset since when?

I know two good ones. Too bad one of them can't beat my Elizabeth.

Also they say Naoto got worse. No SMP loop and all that.

RIP SMP Loop.

At least I can do Double Fangs in mid air now.

In case none of you kids have been keeping up, Rise got announced as playable in P4U2, along with an "Arena" mode which will probably be like BB's Abyss Mode.

Ken will probably be announced soon, too.
And Xrd got a new character in the arcades, P4U2 is getting a balance update, blah blah blah.

Big Band got released for skullgirls. He's hella rad. Hits like a truck and has the silliest gimmick that's been in a fighting game in like ever.

Game's 50% off on steam with his release. If you don't have the game nows a good time to pick it up.

Also Fukua happened but she's old news so... ech.

Rise sounds fun to play, I love me some lame shit. To be frank, it'd be stupid to not have her playable with her getting her own spinoff and all.

More Persona deets can be found here.

While I'm posting, here's some other shit. The creators of Melty Blood are finally porting their last fighting game Under Night In-Birth to PS3. A new character for consoles is coming, with more to be announced.
If it's Fillia like people say it is there won't be a wetvac strong enough to clean up the white mudslide that is my man-sploosh.
There's also online being added. Arc System are putting their money behind it so the netcode will probably be pretty solid.

Game looks pretty damn fun. You can find some match videos and see if it's too your liking. Since people like anime fighters around here, some of you might like what you see.

Deets can be found here.

Oh and ultra street fighter 4 is a thing, who gives a shit.

I've been following UNIB for a while now, and for a time this game was legitimately hilarious. The top characters looked like they were ripped from the Hokuto No Ken fighting game. No, seriously; Linne could hit people with just about any ground/air normal and infinite the fuck out of them. And Linne was the second best character in the game. The best was (and still is, I thnk) a zoner in a game filled with characters that have full screen normals/specials.

Now that they've patched it and removed Linnfinites (She's still top 5), the game is more "balanced" but less hilarious. There's a wiki here.

Also Waldstein is strong as hell for a grappler and Akatsuki is trash apparently. Eltnum is really good, though. This game is amazing and I want to play it.

Akatsuki looked like abosulte shit based on match vids I've seen. Goin hand-to-hand in a game with big ass weapons wasn't a good idea for V1.0 Akihiko and it's not a good idea now. Is the character you're talking about Hilda? She seemed good in match but not anything stupidly OP.

The zoner? Nah, it's Vatista. Her bombs can activate 4 times before disappearing and she has full screen lasers, a safe orb special, and a good reversal super, not to mention her "Specialty" (which is a passive that some characters have, like Linne being one of two characters who can double jump) negating the effects of counter hits entirely. Everyone thought Hilda was OP when she first came out, though.

Other characters I never see anyone do work with is Chaos because he's kinda rare and Yuziriha, which is surprising because she has teleports and full screen sword swipes and shit. She's A+, too. Her neutral is bad if you rush the attacks though, obviously, cause you're gonna get destroyed.

The system mechanics in this game are kinda convoluted, but I like how the story is completely retarded.

Do you even the beta as of like 6 months ago and more or less complete since 2 months ago?

Also, Balanced Step for Most Balanced Move in Balanced Band's Balanced Moveset.

You're just happy because the shittiest, most boring character in P3 is getting a playable role, as with every other unambiguously worst character that you like in every other game.

Extra extra! Ken made slightly less shit by having him share his character slot with Koromaru!

I wonder how Skullgirls has been doing. Can't exactly play it on this computer and my active interest in it died down some time ago.

I blame the overzealously competitive community.

Eh, it's what happens when any game is out for 2 years. After a while all you get is the competitive people. Git gud, etc. It's doing well enough though, Lab Zero is actually getting slices of the profits now. Also, Eliza is fucking rad because I can't think of any other fighting game where 1/2 the cast just gets fucking killed.

And yeah, P4U2 looks cool. I'll get it after I get payed, maybe.
