So this is something that I know most of us are thinking but nobody has bothered to speak aloud. An inconvenient truth to for cC: We no longer have any "higher-caliber" members joining, and those who do join are funserver goers who read the line "Vote for admins on our forums!" Hardly anyone is joining at this point, and when they do join they aren't active and don't stand out on the servers in any way. Just more faces in the crowd. I don't know how to fix it, but we can all see that it's happening. I may be dramatizing this a bit, but it's just a shame to see that this community seems to have reached it's peak of good/active members. This is a great community, and I wish I could see it prosper again.

To be fair, Denzo is a pretty cool guy. Also, summer is right around the corner, and for better or worse that always comes with plenty of new blood.

anyway... In my opinion we are a small community, we don't have enough servers to really put our names out there and attract the better players. If we were a bigger community that might attract more people.

Also, most higher-caliber players are utter douche bags.

Well. The main server could possibly be used to attract newcomers. People who like the standard valve maps would dearly love our mainserver... then we absorb them into our community...

Uh... No? I didn't join because of the 'vote for admins' thing at all. I simply joined because the funserver has a nice community. Admins are fun(usually, sometimes they take it too far), good maps are usually chosen, people are nice and funny... etc.

Since I only usually play Badwater, I have another server for that, that's why I don't play on the mainserver...
