Reason why I don't talk in the mic

There's an easier way.

Talk in game.

If you sound like a kid everyone will go

Cant you just hear yourself in options>voice>test mic? You dont need to go to console. Either way. And is'nt 14 and above considered Tollerable for mic chat? Just not as much? Because im 14 and I do have a mic but I only use it when I feel like i need to say something. Like for important stuff. Also I dont like to be asked if im like 10 or some random small age.

You can be like Hutch and begin voice puberty at the age of 16 and sound like a 14 year old.

You can be like me and hit voice puberty at a young age, And have an accent people keep saying I have which confuses the fuck out of me because I can't notice it.

You can be like regular people that gets a deeper voice when you're 13-14, And slowly have your voice become deeper than that.

If you (And this goes for kids, preteens, or 14 yr olds) have a voice as deep as vintage laser's, You'll be fine to me. Your voice needs to be as deep as vintage laser to gain my reputation if you use your mic. If you have no idea if your voice pitch qualifies, Ask someone, Send 'em a Steam call, and let them tell you.

My voice has apperently qualified since 09. And I do plan on using a mic soon, But mainly for l4d2 and steam calls
Please don't start sending me steam calls, Ill use the mic through steam whenever I feel like doing so,

ah, i remember when i fist used the mic. people assumed i was like 18 or somethin when i was actually like 13 LOL. guess i should have waited a little longer before i used the mic.....

You make that sound like a very bad thing. If you have a high voice(Not 12 yr old high voice), voice actor is much easier. Most woman are voice actors of male characters on shows. Just sayin'.

Never tried it before, but usually if I'm just chatting I sound mature but when I get hyped up (in say the last 30 seconds of Overtime) I sound younger.
