I just got the BEST idea for a medieval mode ctf

So currently the only medieval map is a control point map, right? Well I was poking around in the game files and I found an unused model for a scroll. Was this supposed to be a medieval-style "intelligence?" I thought it would be cool, but then I got an even better idea.
instead of capture the flag, capture the princess
Best idea, or BESTEST idea?
Call me, Robin. Let's make this happen.

It'd be better if it was like Attack/Defense.
Blu team has captured Red's princess and taken her deep into the Dragon's Den. Red team of course goes to rescue her, but the king (Who really doesn't care for the princess) only lets them take a limited amount of soldiers to fight (Think "Battlefield" games with limited tickets. They would scale depending on how many people the server has.)
Red has to survive lava (Of course), pitfalls, traps, Blu team, and defeat the dragon at the end, THEN take the princess back OUT of the level, with blu team spawning where Red did, and vis-versa. If the person escorting the princess dies, the princess starts to wander around, and if left alone for too long, will fall into one of the many pitfalls/traps/lava holes, and Red will have to wait for her to respawn.
Game is over when Red escorts the princess out/Red runs out of their small army(Or time is up if they want a timelimit).

In all seriousness, there should be something to balance the sped handicap, otherwise people will just avoid capturing the princes altogether. Maybe a health regeneration bonus from her sweet flowing love.

But we already have capture the intelligence? Maybe an Escort The Princess mode would be fun though.

medieval_etf_hunted. Basically degrootkeep extended and such with a princess (custom model some magical way) needing escort to the castle? I sense spy spam. Just like zombie fortress. I sense spy spam.

Maps can use custom intel models, right?
Also, this idea reminds me of that Fat Princess video game.

They can, but they have to have separate animations for IDLE and SPIN, if I'm not mistaken. Otherwise they attach themselves to a carrier in very strange ways.

yea they attach themselves with the same orientation as the default intel. I wish I knew how to make new forms of TF2-themed intel or flags. That is one thing no one is really doing.

I like this idea a lot. Maybe fight a dragon at the beginning to "unlock" her from it?
