I am still getting it setup, but it is a legit server that I am paying for. It says 20 slots but I really think it will start to lag if 20 people were on at once. No mods are installed yet so it's every man for himself until then. I'll make a whitelist of only CC members soon. So post if you want to be added to that list.

I built a sky fort, go me

OK so here's an update. i apprently gave them the mods without giving them the dependencies which causes the server to be unable to run. so, when a server cant run it connects you to the next closest server that is also on their hosting service.

I am getting it fixed as I type this.

I desire to be on that minecraft whitelist.

As of yet nobody has actually posted their minecraft account names so i will be the first. whitelists are case sensitive.

The people who have posted have already been to the server when I am on. Its up and running fine. I just have to wait till my hosting allows editting jar files to do any real addons.

My minecraft account is "AutoPilot" but only add me to the whitelist if your ok with me leaving traps for spleenter. Currently I can connect to the server that I, spleenter, duckwalk, and keke use but I still might be randomly blocked form this one.

EDIT: I'm connecting just fine, and wamps "skyfort" is a knock-off of my mega sky pleasure island of impeccable handsomeness and undeniable machismo.

as long as said traps are not entirely lethal im looking forward to solving them and leaving even more dastardly traps for you.

I run a little server on my own machine, also just for cC people, it's only 10 slots and my internet isn't great so I doubt it'll take 10 at once. As Beetle says it won't be as popular as his, but I don't care, it's a little fun for me. I doubt we'll be building any Sky forts (certainly not out of wood anyways, more likely bedrock), but little bases and mining is a certainty. I'm not going to publically disclose the IP Address as it is my home IP address and I don't want it to be public knowledge. So let me know if you want to join by PMing me either on Steam or on here.

I'd recommend not going on the server now, it's laggy as balls

Hey, I made no such comparison between my server and yours. I just said servers that stay online when your computer turns off are better and are going to be more popular because they are always up.

and anyone could figure out your external ip address. That's how forums can ban you for instance.

What type of mods or plugins do you have up right now or are planning for the near future?

More importantly, minecraft is the only game I can play so I'll need some admin, so I can feel marginally better about my sad sad gaming situation.

There are not THAT many mods that are "fun" mods right now that work in multiplayer. I'm adding a mod that you can /playerlist to see who is in the server.

i connected to the server and it said i had no new mail. what does that mean?

default users now have a mail system. idk the commands yet but its like ingame msgs you can send to ppl not online.

more importantly, type /playerlist to see who is on the server.

I love the server as is, and disregard my input if you want to keep it the same, but I wanted to do some creative work too.

All i really want to do is use admin commands to go far enough away from the spawn and build cool shit, never bringing back any of those items to my survival area.

More importantly, I tried out the single player today and I saw a mob with a default skin in my fog, but I couldn't get to him in time. Now I keep finding weird pyramid structures and perfect tunnels in the map... weird.

It was having problems the first week because my hosting service was changing things around with how they operate. Since that has been fixed I got a partial rebate, and the server seems to be running just fine. Captain is going to setup a forum topic for me soon so I can post rules and commands and stuff.

Neato. I've been wanting to get into SMP for absolutely forever now, but I've never really been able to be part of a Minecraft community since it's awkward stepping into a world where entire cities are already set up.

I would love to join you guys, (and gals) but every time I try to log into the server it gives me a random excuse as to why it can't.

EDIT: I can now join, after 5 attempts.

FYI, giggles and I have our own server forum topics down near the tf2 server topics.

And, it isn't your fault you are having problems. its the server's. I am looking into it now with a specialist.
