We are having another members weekend this month. It starts Friday, October 29th and ends Halloween night. There are lots of exciting things going on.

If you aren't aware, Zamboni has been collecting crates. A lot of crates. He will be opening all of them during members weekend and giving prizes to both those who helped him collect all the crates and random people he deems worthy. To make sure everyone has a good time, I'll be giving away presents on both servers throughout the weekend (although donations are down so I won't say how many quite yet).

Beyond that, we'll also be having a Pumpkin Carving Contest with prizes!

If anyone has any other ideas, or knows of any Halloween themed maps we could play, please let me know.

I'm planning on making a cC Halloween map for sake of having fun around Halloween in TF2 and it not being stale (aka Harvest. fun map, but old).

Harvest and Harvest_event are my favorite maps. If you finish your map before members weekend, i say put it 24/7 on those 3 for the time being.

This sounds fantastic. i would carve a pumpkin for the ciontest. but i dont have a digital camera at the moment so ill just have to carve for the hell of it. and ill try and get myself more crates to give zamboni. + ill fire up wegame and we will see how much of this we can get recorded. should be an epic weekend. :O if zamboni is giving away the stuff in the crates, he'll have to be careful about any rare items... valve's scam detection is fuzzy and so if you trade a hat for nothing they disable your steam account... LaN got disabled for buying the entire polycount pack... etc.

Regardless, can't wait for halloween... although artpass_ym makes my fps go from 3 to 1

Also, insert plug for randomizer here. (Plausible idea: The TF2 classes all needed costumes, and so swapped weapons with each other). It'd be fun!.....

yes he wrote down who gave him crates and how many they gave him, and a friend is going to hold onto about 100 crates as he unlocks the other 100.

I didn't know he was collecting them, I was giving out a few.

Hat party is too broad, maybe a SILLY hat party. With silly hats. There are certain hats that are silly and certain hats that... aren't.

Bring your silly hat.

Now, since nobody was listening last time, this halloween is a perfect time for captain to set up the TF2Items Extension, and with it, Giveweapon and Randomizer. Possibly even a gravity gun plugin (lets you pick up and shoot the barrels on dustbowl, the cones, etc.) Very fun to watch. OH! And the TF2 Birthday ball thing. There's a plugin for that. And annotations to the map. bind f "sm_annotate -1,, NEED A DISPENSER HERE!"
