TF2 is F2P, so you really don't need to go to a lot of trouble to get it, be sure to avoid the funserver when it's full of kids, it just gets manic, and be sure to play on the Main server when there are people in, generally early evening US time. Also don't ask for admin cos nobody gets admin that way
