As many of you know, Hardblush was recently banned from the forums and server for being a general jackass.

After begging me to unban him and then telling me he didn't care about our group and that he had already found a better one, he decided it would be funny to send links to child pornography to all the cC members on the forum.

I want to apologize to everyone who received said messages. The messages have been removed and the user account that posted them has been deleted. I also made it so that nobody can send PMs to the whole cC members group so at the very least it will be difficult to PM spam now.

The other thing I did was go back to the logs, get his real IP address and report him to his ISP. Possession and distribution of child pornography is extremely illegal and disgusting. Normally I would try and smooth out the situation and not encourage people to do anything but in case anyone wants to:

Email I sent to childporncomplaints@rr.com with the information they requested (attachments withheald):

The Date: Today 08/22/2010
Time: 11:12 AM (CST)
Time Zone: Central Standard Time
IP Address: 76.92.190.232

The two messages child porn messages were sent within a few minutes of each-other. This message came from the same IP address from someone I banned from our forum a few days ago with the username 'Hardblush' and shortly after the messages were sent I received a communication from 'Hardblush' using the Steam Messenger service admitting that he had sent the messages (full transcript attached):

Hardblush: Did you enjoy the Child porn?
Hardblush: I know I did.
Hardblush: I sent the picture out to everybody, have fun with that.
Hardblush: Actually it was 2 pictures.
captainAngry: What is your problem
captainAngry: I knew it was you before you told me
Hardblush: Nothing, I thought everybody liked CP there

Attached are three screen shots. The first one (Message2.png) is a screen shot of the second message the user sent us (the first was just a URL: LINK TO CP REMOVED).
The second attachment (AdminLogShowingIPAddress.gif) is the forum log of the user showing his IP address.
The third attachment (ChatLog.jpg) is a chat log of the user admitting that he had done it.

I am the owner of the forum that the user posted porn on. The two emails that the user has used on my forum are: skylarf0ster@live.com and themorph@live.com.

Ohh, and it turns out that he didn't even use a proxy and actually made his new account with the same IP address he connects to the servers with and that he had his old forum account under.

Hellfire could be considered a human being, as much as he wished he was a digimon, and at least some of the saints among us felt sorry for him. Hardblush is a horrible embodiment of internet filth that barely deserves a court trial and I sincerely hope that the penalty for possession and distribution of child porn is suddenly changed to "death by Scanners reenactment."

The idea is that if someone else comes on here and wants to fuck with us, they will see this and hear about how we dealt with other bullshit and not do it.

I can deal with a good amount of fucking with people, and normally I think griefing is funny, but there is a line. What happened here was way beyond where that line is.

Not only is child porn illegal but distributing something like that, sending it to underage children AND bragging about it didn't really leave many options open for dealing with it.

My goal was to make sure that this didn't happen again.He told me he was going to keep doing it. Since I forwarded that email I sent to his ISP to his email accounts and made it a lot more difficult to spam PMs to people, I think i solved this portion of it. Now that my family is safe, protecting others is my goal.

We'll see where the email to the ISP goes. If it doesn't at least get him in trouble with his parents, there are plenty of people out there that dislike child porn to make his life miserable for a while with the info we have.
