(Warning, you probably won't care about this whatsoever if you aren't interested in helping someone and you don't know much about computers. Just trying to save some people some time.)

Well my comp ended up working for an hour last night (idk what I did, maybe gave the graphics card a bit of time to cool off), then i shut it off, went to bed, came back and turned it on around 4 PM, and it ended up acting the same as yesterday. Black and colored boxes still on the screen, even on the blue screen at the OS setup menu (I did a complete OS restore, came to the conclusion it isn't a virus.) [Restoring didn't make me lose anything of importance, i managed to get what I needed onto a flash drive.]

So my graphics card isn't hot, the fan is still running at normal speed, dust was cleaned out from the inside, so it has to do with the card itself. So my question, do you think it'll correct itself in a day or so, or does it sound like the graphics card is corrupt or whatever now? Thanks for your time.

yep, sounds like its broken.

I would uninstall the drivers for it, find the newest drivers for it and try those, if that doesn't do anything, I would say that your card is b0rked.

Still sounds like it overheated. It never "fixed" its self or became fixed. It cooled off and worked again, but its still not getting enough heat off it. Its good that you cleaned out the dust, but if now no matter what the speckles are showing up even when its not hot then its busted (overheated) beyond repair.

This is my unprofessional opinion. I only have a silly A+ certification. I've had it happen to me before.

3 things to check when your card overheats.
[X] The fan isn't overly dusted, or broken.
[ ] The drivers are up to date, and not forcing ridiculous clocks onto your GPU
[ ] Your PSU (Power supply) is properly plugged in, as well as 100% compatible with your Graphics card.

I had the same exact problem with by ATI Radeo 9250. What your video card is doing is artifacting. When mine did that, i put it in the oven because the solder can be reset, if u look it up heat can fix video cards that are in the process of breaking. It actually helped my video card for about 2 days, but then it crapped out again. I ended up buying a new video card. I really hope that your's is fixable tho, and wish the best of luck to you.
