I am posting this in Help Desk, and General, in case it get's buried.

Anyway, I was trolling a runefag forum. I got banned, and I have a screenshot attached with the post of my IP (Ironically, it was a typo) and a threat AGAINST me. He threatened to do more than ban it, and I believe I am at risk.

Of course, I don't know if he'll do anything, but is this legal?

It's illegal to do anything more than ban you from that forum.

How does it end up mattering though? I would assume all admins of websites have the ability to look at your ip address when you visit their website.

I hope at least you regret messing with 'em. That's probably all he's hoping for.
